    This may seem like a stupid question but do the Catalan people want their own playing for Spain and ultimately, do they want them to win?

    That is actually a very good question and the truth is it depends from person to person, depending on whether they are staunchly "Catalanista" or pro-Spain. I find that those in between tend to support La Roja.

    Funnily enough, I know some Catalan (identical) twins and one of them reluctantly supports Spain while the other is willing them to fail.

    Even those who support Spain would probably favour the idea of Catalunya representing themselves.
